Join us this half term at Southside Shopping Centre for a storytelling adventure like no other!
Bringing to life classic fairy-tales such as Little Red Riding Hood and Fantastic Mr Fox, these interactive storytelling events will delight the audience with the magic of stories.
Feel-good, funny and filled with audience participation this is certainly one to add to your family half-term activity calendar. If you’re sitting near the front be prepared to unleash your inner acting talents as you may be called up to take center stage as one of the characters in the stories.

Saturday 19th October | The Lion Inside showing at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm
In a dry dusty place where the sand sparkled gold, stood a mighty flat rock, all craggy and old. And under that rock in a tinyful house, lived the littlest, quietest, meekest brown mouse… Join us for a wonderful story about confidence, self-esteem, and a shy little mouse who sets out on a journey to find his roar.
Sunday 20th October | The Smartest Giant in Town showing at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm
George didn't like being the scruffiest giant in town, so when he sees a new shop selling giant-size clothes he decides it's time to update his image. With smart trousers, a smart shirt, stripy tie, and shiny shoes, George is a new giant. Come and see what George gets up to with his new look…
Wednesday 23rd October | Little Red Riding Hood showing at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm
Once upon a time, there was a little girl who lived in a village near the forest. Whenever she went out, the little girl wore a red riding cloak, so everyone in the village called her Little Red Riding Hood… Join us to find out what happens she goes to visit her grandmother one morning!
Friday 25th October | Fantastic Mr Fox showing at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm
Join us for the tales of the clever Mr Fox who lives underground with his family. Fantastic Mr Fox is a thrilling story of one brave father fox's attempts to keep his family safe and fed.
See how he outwits his cruel farmer neighbours to steal food from right under their noses…

Pick your preferred story, date and time from the schedule above then send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will reply with confirmation of your spaces.
There will be a small entry fee of £3 per child with all proceeds being donated to Barnardo's children charity.
