We endeavour to make our centre accessible to everyone! Our centre is fully accessible, including disabled car parking bays, lifts to all areas of the centre, automatic entrance doors and friendly staff that are always available to help!
We offer a wheelchair on-site for Southside customers. If you would like to find out more or to book this ahead of your visit, please call our team on 020 8877 3088 to confirm the current availability and to register your interest.
To collect the chair during your visit, please visit our security control room on the first floor along the corridor to the toilets. We recommend that individuals driving here use Car Park 1.
When our own wheelchair is unavailable, there is the opportunity to use the Shopmobility service in the nearby Sainsbury’s.
All of our toilets can be found on the first floor. Alongside our accessible toilets, we have also upgraded one unit to include a changing places facility with all the necessary equipment, such as a hoist and adjustable sinks. We have recently upgraded all of our accessible toilets to make them stoma-friendly.
If you require the use of our accessible toilet facilities, please make sure you have a radar key with you. If you have forgotten your key, please speak to one of our toilet attendants to assist you further. If you would like to speak to us about getting a key, please get in touch.
Southside has two car parks, both of which include disabled bays.
In the UK, 1 in 5 people have a hidden disability. 80% of these people have a hidden disability. The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a discreet way for children and adults with hidden disabilities to show that they need a little more time.
We have signed up to the Hidden Disabilities sunflower lanyard scheme, allowing us to support our shoppers with a hidden disability who may need some extra support. Please feel free to ask any member of staff for a lanyard.
