The project has received widespread acclaim for its ethical approach to reducing CO2 and empowering independent sellers, growers and chefs to champion a more sustainable and more nutritious food future. The Organic Weekend Market invites all ethical traders to join the fun on Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 10am until 6pm. Chef/owner Ermiya has worked in some of London’s most prestigious eateries including Nobu and Hakasan. Now working on his own initiative, he brings with him a dedicated team and some of the most delicious organic noodles, Mongolian beef with sesame glaze, also the most delicious tempura organic French beans as a free taster.
Vegan organic Mel Tropical
The epitome of StreetCube ethos - an incredible array of organic, vegan, British produce, including lentils, sweet potato, fava beans and carrot and coriander falafels. The stand is awash with colour and nutrition. Wraps, vegan munch boxes and generous portions - you can eat very well for a fiver!
This husband and wife partnership from Turkey serve up traditional hand-made golzeme and baklava. Organic, fresh and gently toasted on a hot plate, these vegan pancakes are unique and a real crowd-pleaser. Spinach and vegan cheese, brushed with oil and crisped to perfection. They’re utterly delicious.
